As you are guided into an embodied awareness during  a Phoenix Rising yoga therapy session, you begin  to tune into the wisdom of your body and to become more aware of the relationship between body patterns and life patterns,facilitating personal growth and offering yourself the opportunity for change and choice.
 
Phoenix Rising Yoga therapy techniques include gentle stretching and supported yoga postures along with breathwork, guided meditation and reflective dialogue. Clients often experience a reduction of stress, anxiety, depression and physical tension and feel more acceptance and self compassion.
 
Yoga therapy may be helpful to individuals dealing with relationship issues and  life changes or healing from grief, past trauma or abuse. It can also be beneficial to anyone seeking to know themselves better or to deepen the internal aspects of their yoga practice.
 
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy sessions generally  last 90 minutes. Clients remain fully clothed and  should wear comfortable loose clothing.
 
 
Session rates are $90 /session (sliding scale is available)
